Not so along ago every Arab village around the Arabian Gulf had its own bukhoor makers, specialists in mixing and blending the various perfume ingredients and every region produced its own distinctive aroma.
The Arab tradition is to offer visitors smoke of bukhoor to fragrance their hair, clothes and bodies. This tradition is actually considered a sign of Arabic hospitality and usually a civilized way of telling your guests its time to leave. Hence the proverb `After the incense there is no sitting on'. Oudh and bukhur had become an integral part of Arabic culture and are used on all sorts of occasions. No Arabic wedding is complete without oudh, frankincense is burnt in homes and rooms to give them a special aroma.
We, at Dar Al Teeb, specialize in customizing the art of perfumery and ensuring that the fragrance suits its wearer and enhances his or her sex appeal.
Creating perfumes and attars (perfumed oils) is usually a challenge, as you have to conceptualize everything from the bottling to the packaging and marketing. So far most of the products we have launched have been highly successful and a large majority of our clients happen to be VIPs and businessmen.
A perfume is a very personal thing. The sign of good perfume is that others can smell it on you though you cant (and how it reacts with your skin to create your unique fragrance.) In fact the clothes should still carry the smell long after. These unmatched qualities of our products have made us the first choice in the region.
At Dar Al Teeb we believe in building a steady stream of clientele who appreciate and enjoy the luxury of quality perfumery. We also cater to all types of clientele, but the majority of our customers happen to be glitzy elite, who just keep coming back for more. A new product every quarter is launched in order to satisfy a variety of our clients.
